This agreement is between the “Contractor” Kristina Lewis and Blitz Organization and “Client”.
The Contractor, Kristina Lewis and Blitz Organization, will provide professional organizing services with the goal of creating an orderly and efficient space that is customized for you, the Client. This letter is to confirm the details of our agreement, including the systems and services provided by our professional organizing company.
Regarding the purging, sorting, and organizing of items, the Client maintains process ownership. Contractor recognizes items as the sole property of the Client, and although efforts will be made to encourage purging when needed, it is hereby stated that the final decision on such matters belongs to the Client. Likewise, project outcomes depend on Client’s willingness and/or ability to make decisions. Long-term maintenance of organization hinges on the Client’s commitment to maintaining the order and quantity of items in the space. Recurring reorganization sessions (aka Maintenance sessions) are available as needed.
Minimum Hours: With the exception of maintenance appointments, there is a 2-hour minimum per appointment. In our experience, organizing sessions of shorter duration simply do not produce effective results.
Appointment Confirmation: Contractor will text or call Client 24-48 hours in advance to confirm appointments. If Client fails to confirm the appointment, the appointment will need to be rescheduled by the Client.
Cancellations/Reschedules: Client agrees to provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice of cancellation or reschedule request.
No Shows: A no show is considered when the Client did not show up after 15 minutes into the scheduled appointment or did not cancel the appointment. A $100 fee will be incurred for a no show appointment.
Timeframe: This agreement does not have a specific completion date, but is for a specified project. The project will be considered complete when the client’s goals are reached. The contractor may use her own discretion and skill to determine periods of time and details to be done for the project completed. This will be communicated and agreed upon by the Contractor and Client. Once this service agreement is signed, it will be the binding contract for both parties to fulfill the agreement.
As part of Blitz Organization’s services, supplies are suggested for optimum organization when needed or requested. Supplies will be paid upfront to Blitz Organization by the Client and any supplies not used will be refunded back to the Client.
Invoices: Invoices will be emailed within 24 hours of the work being performed. The agreed rate per organizer expires at the time the regular scheduled appointment ceases.
Payment is due at the end of each date of service, not at the completion of each project. Payment can be made in the following ways:
Venmo – @blitzorganization
Cash – paid directly to the organizer on site
Check – payable to Blitz Organization
– All returned checks shall be charged a $40 fee as well as any additional collection and/or any other fees resulting in the returned check
Credit Card – Invoice with link to pay by credit card will be sent on date of service via email or text
– Accepted with a $10 processing fee
ITEMS FOR DISPOSAL
At the Client’s request, Blitz Organization will transport items for disposal to the appropriate locations. Whether by donation, recycling, or shredding, Contractor shall dispose of said items at their sole discretion. Client may elect to dispose of items personally as well.
Work of this nature may require Contractor to be in contact with Client’s personal items and information. Contractor agrees to maintain the highest standard of confidentiality and respect for the Client’s possessions and home at all times.
For each room or space organized, Contractor will take both “before” and “after” photos. These photos may be used by the Contractor for devising solutions, for marketing promotions in print and/or on the internet, and as record of our work history with Client; the photos will not include the Client, anyone in the household, sensitive information, or anything that could identify you.
By signing this agreement, I grant and authorize Kristina Lewis and Blitz Organization, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs of my property in connection with this project.
Waiver and Release: I the client, for myself and my heirs, hereby release, waive, discharge and hold harmless, Kristina Lewis and Blitz Organization any and all liability, claim and demands of whatever kind of nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from the services provided. I understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges Kristina Lewis and Blitz Organization from any liability or claim that I may have against Kristina Lewis and Blitz Organization with respect to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, property damage, or any other claim that may result from the services provided or occurring while services are being provided.
Kristina Lewis and Blitz Organization reserve the right to terminate this Agreement for the following reasons:
Repeated cancellations and rescheduling
Client or family members engage in disruptive, threatening, or violent behavior, which can include but is not limited to yelling, verbal abuse, threats (outright or implied)
Unsafe or unsanitary working conditions
