What does a professional home organizer do?
We make your life easier by doing the following:
- Assist with decluttering
- Organize your items
- Purchase supplies or install furniture to make your space more functional
- Handle all donation & recycle drop-offs
I’m too embarrassed to let anyone see my space.
Please don’t be! Life is so busy to begin with. Add anything to it and it’s so easy to have things pile up and become overwhelming. Your home is a judgment-free zone and I am only there to help make your life easier!
So how do I get started?
We will set up a consultation so that I can see the space(s) and go through your goals. If supplies are needed or wanted, measurements will be taken. A proposal will be sent to you shortly after the consultation. Once the proposal is approved, a 50% deposit will be due so that supplies can be purchased. The second half of the payment will be due at the conclusion of the project once you are completely happy with the outcome.
How can I prepare for the consultation?
You don’t need to do a thing! Seeing your space and how it is used on a daily basis is helpful to see how the space can be best utilized.
Do I need to be there with you the whole time?
No. We will categorize all of your items so it is easy to see what you have. We do need you to go through the categorized items to make a decision on what you would like to keep, so we ask that you check in with us every so often to see if we have a category ready for you to go through.
Are you going to make me throw everything all away?
This is your home and your belongings. I will honor whatever items you’d like to keep and honor whatever you’d like to get rid of. Once things are categorized, it’s easy to go through and see how many of one item you may have, so it’s naturally easier to part with items.
